Scott J. Stitt has represented a wide cross-section of parties including corporations, fiduciaries, physicians and medical practice groups, as well as individuals in a variety of business litigation matters, with a focus upon claims arising under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). Scott is also a member of The ESOP Association, the National Center for Employee Ownership, and the Ohio Employee Ownership Center, as his ERISA litigation practice includes extensive experience with employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) representation.

In addition to his ERISA practice, Scott’s general business litigation practice includes representation of plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal court, including claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, wrongful discharge, the misappropriation of trade secrets, and other employment and health-related claims. He is also a frequent speaker, having spoken before the Ohio State Bar Association and the Ohio/Kentucky Chapter of The ESOP Association, among others.
