Richard B. Furnish

Richard B. Furnish is a business litigation attorney whose practice focuses on commercial disputes, corporate transactions, and general business counsel. He represents clients in complex litigation matters and provides strategic legal guidance throughout the litigation process.

Prior to joining Arnold & Clifford, Richard operated his own law practice for more than fifteen years. During that time, he served as attorney of record in over a thousand matters across a wide range of practice areas, including civil litigation, construction and employment disputes, criminal defense, family law, real estate transactions, and estate planning. In addition to his litigation practice, Richard regularly served as fractional in-house counsel for startups, entrepreneurs, and closely held businesses, advising on day-to-day legal matters, corporate formation and governance, contract negotiation, risk management, and mergers and acquisitions. He also brings substantial experience in personal injury litigation and settlement negotiations.

Richard earned his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science from Miami University. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. His diverse legal background allows him to provide clients with practical, business-focused solutions while effectively advocating for their interests in and out of the courtroom.
